Extended reality (XR) is an umbrella term encompassing augmented reality, virtual reality and mixed reality, which combine real and virtual environments to create immersive, interactive experiences for users. The AMCN has advanced facilities with interdisciplinary teams specialising in the use of XR in manufacturing.
